Fylnis Law Group opened its doors on Margaret Avenue in 2003. The premise was straightforward: deliver the kind of careful, personal legal work that used to be standard in small-town Texas practices — but with the technology, research access, and procedural rigor of a modern firm.
Two decades later, that idea has held up. We’ve grown steadily, but deliberately. Most of our clients come to us through referrals from previous clients, accountants, financial planners, and other Texas attorneys who trust how we handle a file.
We are not the right firm for every matter, and we say so when that’s the case. What we do, we do well: family law, estate planning and probate, real estate, small business counsel, and personal injury.

Our home office sits in Dalhart, in the upper Texas Panhandle. From here, we routinely represent clients in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa, Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, and we appear in courts in all 254 Texas counties.
For matters that don’t require an in-person visit — estate plans, document review, business formation, or initial consultations — we handle them by phone, secure email, and video conference, with the same care as we would in person.
We are licensed by the State Bar of Texas and maintain malpractice coverage and an IOLTA trust account in compliance with Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct.
