Cynthia Peters
Founding Attorney · Owner, Fylnis Law Group
Cynthia Peters, Esq.
Founder · Family Law · Estate Planning · Real Estate
Cynthia founded Fylnis Law Group in 2003 after several years of practice with a regional firm in Amarillo. She built the firm around the kind of practice she always wanted to be a client of: responsive, thorough, and honest about both the strengths and weaknesses of a case.
Her work is concentrated in family law, estate planning, probate, real estate, and small business counsel. She is admitted in all Texas state and federal district courts and is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.
Outside the office, Cynthia serves on the board of a regional nonprofit that supports rural literacy programs and volunteers monthly at a Panhandle legal-aid clinic. She lives in Dalhart with her family.

“The job is to help, plainly.”
“Most of what I do every day is unglamorous: reading carefully, drafting carefully, returning calls promptly, and explaining things until they make sense. That’s the work. If a client leaves my office understanding what’s happening and what comes next, I’ve done my job.”
