Family Law
Family matters are rarely just legal matters — they involve children, finances, and relationships that don’t end at the courthouse door. We handle uncontested and contested divorces, child custody and support, modifications, adoptions, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and protective orders.
Where collaboration is possible, we pursue it. Where it isn’t, we prepare to litigate carefully. Every family case begins with an honest conversation about likely outcomes and likely costs.
Estate Planning & Probate
Most adult Texans need three documents: a will, a financial power of attorney, and a medical power of attorney. Many also benefit from a revocable trust or transfer-on-death deed. We prepare each of these as part of a coordinated plan tailored to your family, your property, and your wishes.
When a loved one passes away, we walk surviving family members through the Texas probate process — independent administration where possible, dependent administration when required, and muniment of title where it fits. We keep filings on schedule and explain each step in plain language.

Real Estate & Ranch Transactions
The Panhandle has its own rhythms when it comes to land: surface and mineral estates, grazing leases, water rights, easements, and old chain-of-title questions that go back generations. We help buyers, sellers, lenders, and landowners review contracts, clear title issues, and close transactions cleanly.
For ranch and ag-land matters specifically, we coordinate with surveyors, title companies, and lenders to make sure the deal that closes is the deal you actually intended.
Personal Injury
We represent injured Texans in motor vehicle collisions, commercial trucking accidents, oilfield and workplace injuries, slip-and-fall claims, dog bites, and wrongful death matters. Most personal injury cases are handled on a contingency basis: you owe no attorney’s fee unless we recover for you.
We work with treating providers, accident reconstructionists, and economists where the case calls for it. Most matters settle without trial; some don’t, and we prepare every file as though it will.

Small Business Counsel
From the formation of your LLC or S-corp through your first employee, your first vendor dispute, and your first commercial lease, we serve as outside general counsel for small Texas businesses. Most small-business clients work with us on a flat monthly or per-matter basis.
Common engagements include operating and shareholder agreements, independent contractor and employment templates, vendor and customer contracts, commercial leases, and gentle buy-sell or succession planning.
